Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of Moteripu AI ("Service") provided by moteai ("Operator"). Users must agree to these Terms before using the Service.

Article 1 (Application)
1. These Terms apply to all matters between the User and the Operator concerning the Service.
2. Rules and notices displayed in the Service form part of these Terms.
3. If these Terms conflict with specific terms, the specific terms prevail.

Article 2 (Service)
1. The Service organizes information and conversations entered by Users and uses AI to provide reply suggestions and other reference information.
2. AI analyses and reply suggestions are provided for reference only. Their accuracy, completeness, suitability, or results are not guaranteed.
3. Users must review suggestions before sending them and use them at their own discretion and responsibility.
4. The Service does not send messages to third parties on behalf of Users.

Article 3 (Registration and Account Management)
1. Users must agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy and register through the method specified by the Operator.
2. Users must keep registration information accurate and current.
3. Users must properly manage their accounts and must not allow third parties to use them.
4. Suspected unauthorized use must be reported to the Operator promptly.

Article 4 (User Input)
1. When entering another person's information or conversations, Users must respect privacy, confidentiality, copyright, and other third-party rights.
2. Users must have the authority or other legitimate grounds necessary to enter and use information in the Service.
3. Rights in information entered by Users remain with the User or the lawful rights holder.
4. The Operator handles User input only as necessary to provide, maintain, improve, and protect the Service.

Article 5 (External Services and AI Processing)
The Service may use external providers for authentication, AI processing, infrastructure, analytics, and other functions. User input may be transmitted to these providers as necessary to provide the Service.

Article 6 (Fees)
1. The Service is currently provided free of charge.
2. If paid features are introduced, prices, payment methods, renewal terms, and cancellation terms will be displayed in advance.

Article 7 (Prohibited Conduct)
Users must not:
1. Violate laws, regulations, or public order;
2. Infringe privacy, reputation, intellectual property, or other rights of any person;
3. Use the Service for impersonation, harassment, threats, stalking, or other conduct intended to harm or distress another person;
4. Enter confidential information or information obtained unlawfully;
5. Access systems without authorization or interfere with operation of the Service;
6. Analyze, reproduce, resell, or commercially exploit the Service without permission;
7. Use AI output for unlawful conduct, fraud, discrimination, exploitation, or other improper purposes; or
8. Engage in any conduct the Operator reasonably considers inappropriate.

Article 8 (Restriction and Account Deletion)
1. The Operator may restrict use or delete input data or an account without prior notice if a User violates these Terms, misuses the Service, or if reasonably necessary to operate the Service.
2. Users may delete their account from the settings page.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property)
Intellectual property rights in the Service, software, design, text, and content provided by the Operator belong to the Operator or their lawful rights holders.

Article 10 (Changes and Suspension)
The Operator may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service when necessary for maintenance, incident response, security, or other operational reasons.

Article 11 (Disclaimer)
1. The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, usefulness, continuity, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Service or AI output.
2. The Operator does not guarantee any outcome arising from reply suggestions, communication with third parties, or personal relationships.
3. Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the Operator is not liable for damages related to the Service to the extent permitted by law.
4. If consumer protection or other applicable law makes part of this Article unenforceable, that law prevails.

Article 12 (Changes to Terms)
The Operator may amend these Terms as permitted by law. For material changes, the Operator will notify Users of the changes and effective date and request renewed consent where appropriate.

Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
1. These Terms are governed by Japanese law.
2. Unless otherwise required by law, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for disputes relating to the Service.
